Sunset Paddle FAQ

Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. Each paddle is about 2 hours and start times follow the sunset through the season (spring 2027 sessions run 5:30–7:30 PM). You'll see exact times when you book.
$50 per person.
Yes — we're at Canyon Lake Marina, right on the water.
Yes. Every kayak and paddleboard comes with a paddle and a life jacket.
No. The marina is private property and your reservation covers parking for one vehicle. Parking is limited, so carpooling helps.
Canyon Lake Marina, 16802 AZ-88, Apache Junction, AZ 85119. Cell service gets spotty near the lake, so download directions before you leave.
Booking online is the best way to guarantee your spot. Walk-ups are welcome when there's room — arrive early.
We paddle rain or shine! If we hear thunder, we wait 30 minutes after the last rumble before heading back out, and if the wind picks up, we hang tight until it calms down.
